Planning a trip should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
Here are answers to some of the questions we receive most often.
BOOKING & PAYMENTS
1. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE TRIP PRICE?
Every one of our trips is unique and thoughtfully designed around the destination. However, all trips include accommodations, airport transfers within the destination, ground transportation to listed activities, along with a curated itinerary created to help you experience the location in a meaningful way.

2. WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TRIP PRICE?
While Wanderlush trips typically include thoughtfully selected accommodations, transportation listed in the itinerary, and a variety of curated experiences, some things are not included in the base trip price.
These typically include international flights/airfare, travel insurance, meals not listed in the itinerary, personal expenses, tips/gratuities for local guides or service staff, and optional activities or experiences.
Because every trip is unique, the full list of inclusions and exclusions will always be outlined on the individual trip page prior to booking.
3. ARE PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE?
Yes! We want traveling with us to be as easy as possible.We offer payment plans to make booking your Wanderlush experience easier to plan for. After placing your initial deposit, the remaining balance can typically be paid in scheduled installments leading up to the trip.
Please note that if you join a trip closer to its departure date, the number of available payment installments may be limited, as full payment is typically required at least 60 days prior to departure. For your convenience, the exact final payment and booking deadline for each trip will always be listed on the individual trip booking page.
4. WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American express & Discover). You may also choose to use a bank transfer when booking.
5. WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE A SCHEDULED PAYMENT?
If a scheduled payment is missed, you will receive an email reminder two days after the due date to notify you of the missed installment. If the payment is not made shortly after, the missed amount will be added to your next scheduled payment to bring your booking up to date.
We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If you are unable to make a scheduled payment, please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can explore your options together. You can find the appropriate contact email in your booking or Trip-related communications.
Please note that failure to make payments or communicate with us regarding your booking may result in the cancellation of your reservation. For full details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy regarding payment defaults.
6. WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Because our cancellation policy includes several important details regarding deposits, payment schedules, and trip timelines, we recommend reviewing our Terms & Conditions for the full policy.
We encourage all travelers to review this information carefully before booking so they understand the applicable timelines and policies associated with their reservation.
TRAVEL PLANNING
7. ARE FLIGHTS INCLUDED IN THE GROUP TRIPS?
International flights are not included in Wanderlush group trips. Travelers are responsible for booking their own flights to and from the destination.
But rest assured, we're still here to help! After joining a trip, you will receive an email with recommended arrival dates, arrival time windows, and the designated airport to ensure eligibility for the included airport transfer to the accommodation.
If you choose to arrive outside of the recommended arrival window, transportation to the accommodation will need to be arranged independently and will be at the traveler’s own expense.
8. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY FLIGHT?
We recommend waiting to book your flights until you receive the trip confirmation email after joining your Wanderlush trip. This email will include important details such as recommended arrival dates, arrival time windows, and the designated airport for the trip.
Booking your flight after receiving this information helps ensure you arrive within the recommended window and are eligible for the included airport transfer to the accommodation. Once you receive confirmation, you are more than welcome to book your flight whenever you see fit and your budget allows.
9. DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE IN ORDER TO JOIN A GROUP TRIP?
At this time, travel insurance is not required in order to join a Wanderlush trip. However, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for the duration of your travels for your safety and peace of mind.
Travel insurance can provide coverage for things such as medical emergencies, trip interruptions or cancellations, baggage loss, and other unforeseen circumstances that may occur while traveling. When booking, you will have the option to purchase one of the available insurance plans provided through our booking partner, or you are welcome to obtain coverage independently through a provider of your choice.
Please note that The Wanderlush Collective cannot be held responsible for costs related to illnesses, injuries, missed flights, or other travel disruptions that may occur during your trip. Travelers are responsible for any expenses that may arise in these situations.

10. DO YOU ASSIST WITH VISAS OR PASSPORTS APPLICATIONS?
While The Wanderlush Collective does not assist with the application or purchase of passports, visas, or other required travel documents, we aim to make preparing for your trip as easy as possible!
After booking, travelers typically receive an email outlining general entry requirements for the destination, including any known visa or passport guidelines. However, it remains the responsibility of each traveler to ensure they have obtained all necessary travel documents and meet the entry requirements for their destination.
Because requirements can change, we strongly recommend that travelers also conduct their own research and confirm current entry requirements with official government sources prior to departure.
The Wanderlush Collective cannot be held responsible for travelers who are denied entry due to missing or incorrect documentation. For more information, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
TRAVELER ELIGIBILITY
11. I AM A SOLO TRAVELER. CAN I JOIN A GROUP TRIP?
Absolutely! We not only recommend it, we encourage it. The Wanderlush Collective was founded on the belief that travel not only creates experiences and memories but long-lasting friendships along the way as well.
Joining as a solo traveler can be the perfect opportunity to see the world while meeting like minded people.
12. IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT TO JOIN THE GROUP TRIPS?
While we believe the joy of travel can be experienced at any age, we require all travelers joining Wanderlush trips to be at least 18 years of age.
13. ARE THE GROUP TRIPS OPEN TO EVERYONE REGARDLESS OF GENDER?
Many Wanderlush trips are open to travelers of all genders. However, some trips may be designed specifically for women.
If a trip is exclusive to a specific group, this will always be clearly indicated on the trip page prior to booking so you can choose the experience that feels right for you.
ACCOMMODATIONS
14. THE TRIP I’D LIKE TO JOIN IS LISTED AS DOUBLE OCCUPANCY, CAN I CHOSE TO HAVE MY OWN ROOM INSTEAD?
We understand preferring additional privacy and personal space. Whenever possible, you will have the option to select a single occupancy or private room during booking for an additional cost.
If single occupancy rooms are unavailable for a specific trip, this will be clearly noted on the trip page during to booking process.
15. I’M TRAVELING WITH A FRIEND. CAN WE REQUEST TO SHARE A ROOM?
100% yes! If you would like to share a room with a friend, please select the double occupancy option (or shared bed option if applicable), during checkout.
During the booking process, you will have the opportunity to "room with a friend". Please submit your roommate request there with the first and last name of the traveler you’d like to share a room with.
For safety and accuracy, both travelers must submit this request. If requests are not received from both travelers, room assignments will be arranged with another solo traveler.
TRIP EXPERIENCE
16. IF I DON’T WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN ONE OR MORE OF THE ACTIVITIES LISTED IN THE ITINERARY, CAN I OPT OUT?
Of course! While our itineraries are thoughtfully designed to create a well rounded experience, participation is always optional. If there’s an activity or excursion that you'd prefer to not participate in, you are more than welcome to opt out.
Please be advised that choosing not to participate in a scheduled activity does not change the overall price of the trip or constitute a partial refund or refund of any kind.
17. CAN I ADD ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES DURING THE TRIP?
Yes! Some trips may include optional activities that can be added to your itinerary during the booking process for an additional cost. If additional options are available for your selected trip you will be able to select them while completing your booking.
Additionally, upon arrival each traveler may receive a short list of popular local activities in the area that they are welcome to explore during their free time. These activities and transportation are optional and would be arranged at the travelers own expense.
18. WILL I HAVE FREE TIME DURING THE TRIP?
Absolutely. Each itinerary is designed to include both planned activities and free time so travelers can relax, explore independently, or enjoy the destination at their own pace.
19. DO YOU ACCOMMODATE ALLERGIES AND DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Absolutely! The safety and comfort of our travelers is of the utmost importance to us. During the booking process you will be asked to list any allergies and/or dietary restrictions.
Once we receive this information, we will communicate your needs with the restaurants, vendors and businesses we work with throughout the trip to help ensure your dining experiences are as comfortable as possible. In the event a specific allergy or dietary restriction cannot be accommodated for a particular meal or activity, the traveler will be notified as soon as possible and other arrangements will be discussed whenever feasible.
20. WHAT IS THE TYPICAL GROUP SIZE?
Wanderlush trips are designed to remain intimate, as the size of a trip can affect the overall experience. We want our travelers to have a more personal and relaxed experience. As a result, most trips will have around 6-10 travelers, depending on the destination and accommodations.
The exact group size will always be listed in details on the trip page prior to booking.

21. CAN THE WANDERLUSH COLLECTIVE HELP ME BOOK A PRIVATE TRIP?
At this time, The Wanderlush Collective focuses on curated group travel experiences.
